Differently-abled boy from Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara, Parvaiz has to walk to school on one limb covering a distance of 2 km daily.
He said, "Roads are not good. If I get an artificial limb, I can walk. I have a dream to achieve something in my life."
The 14-year-old boy said that although the Social Welfare Dept had provided him a wheelchair but due to the dilapidated road conditions, it was never put to use.
After a clip of Parvaiz balancing on one leg to get to his school was shared by ANI on Twitter, it went viral, Jaipur Foot (NGO) USA Chairman Prem Bhandari has decided to help the boy with an artificial limb free of cost.
