Whereas, the Culture Department vide Indent No. CUL/GEN/38/2020 dated 29.09.2020 followed by another Indent No. CUL/Gen/38/2020 dated 03.12.2020 among other posts requisitioned 48 posts of Jr. Librarian with the Division-wise breakup as follows' and Divisional Cadre Kashmir Item No, 48 OM=12, SC=02, ST=02, OSC=01, ALC/IB=01, RBA=03, PSP=01,EWS=02 TOTAL=24 Divisional Cadre Jammu Item No, 49 OM=12, SC=02, ST=02, OSC=01, ALC/IB=01, RBA=03, PSP=01, EWS=02 TOTAL=24 Whereas, these 48 posts were notified by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020 under Item No. 48 and 49 respectively; and Whereas, as per the Indent/Notification the qualification prescribed for the posts is as follows: "BA/B. Sc/B.Com with certificate course in Library Science"; and Whereas, as per the Notification the selection is to be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only; and Whereas, as per the criteria the written examination/CBT examination of the candidates who were falling under module/domain of Jr. Librarian-Librarian-Photo Librarian etc. was conducted from 27.10.2021 to 02.11.2021 in multiple shifts; and Whereas, as per the procedure the document verification of the shortlisted candidates was conducted in the month of January, 2022 and thereafter supplementary document verification was conducted in the month of February, 2022; and Therefore, in view of the above, the candidates who have applied for the post of Jr. Librarian (Divisional Cadre Kashmir & Divisional Cadre Jammu) under Item No. 48 and 49 of Notification No. 04 of 2020 and appeared in the CBT test held for the said Items from 27.10.2021 to 02.11.2021 are hereby informed through the medium of this notice to submit their Certificate Course in Library Science within five days from the date of issuance of this notice. The Kashmir based candidates shall submit their certificate in the office of J&K Services Selection Board Zam Zam Building Rambagh, Srinagar and Jammu based candidates shall submit their certificate in the office of J&K Services Selection Board, Hema Complex, Sector-03, Channi Himmat, Jammu.
