Man held with illegally stocked 368 LPG cylinders
JAMMU, Oct 22: Miran Sahib Police arrested a man along with 368 illegally stocked LPG cylinders. As per official sources, an information was received through reliable source that a person namely Sushil Kumar, son of Yashpal of Darsopur is selling LPG cylinders to the locals without permission from competent authorities on higher rates and is also indulged in illegal refilling of cylinders. Acting over the information, a case FIR Number 138/2022 under Section 3/7 Essential Commodity Act was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started. During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta raided the spot and arrested the said person alongwith 02 electronic weighing machines, 1 electric motor used for refilling of LPG cylinders, some broken cylinder seals, 02 magnetic hooks, 250 empty commercial LPG cylinders, 83 filled commercial LPG Cylinders, 8 filled domestic LPG Cylinders and 35 empty domestic LPG cylinders. Further investigation into the case is going on.
