Jammu, June 8- Congress questioned the UT administration for the failure to complete the recruitment of class IVth posts even after two years of initial advertisement and expressed surprise that if this is the "fast track recruitment".
The party has also taken note of the allegations of bunglings in PSI selections and demanded enquiry and immediate clarity about the stand of the administration.
The party has also taken strong exception to the high headed and arrogant attitude of service selection Board official who not only snubbed but also threatened an aspirant for the class IVth post, for his only fault of making a querry regarding the status of selections. The audio leak shows an ugly face of the officer and brings bad name to the administration, so stern action should follow.
JKPCC Chief spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma has expressed full support on behalf of the party to the agitating class IVth aspirants, who were declared selected but the list was withdrawn by board itself in a couple of days, citing technical glitch and assured the list again shortly..
Out of 8575 class IVth posts advertised in June 2020, over 3400 posts could not filled up so far while others are serving for last more than seven months.
The once selected aspirants are now running from pillar to post but when they approach the board officials, they receive humiliation, embarrassment and threats as is evident from the audio leak of a conversation.
The Chief Secretary should immediately take cognizance of the incident and hold enquiry into the conduct of the officer, who doesn't seem to be fit for postings of public dealings.
Other such arrogant officers in administration should be identified who still behave worst than british officers , used to do with Indians. Such officers should be given proper orientation for public dealings and monitored closely otherwise it is loss of image of LG administration .
He termed certain reports of alleged bunglings in the PSI selections , as quite disturbing and selection authority must clarify the position immediately, he added.
