Whereas, the Finance Department vide Indent No. FD/Coord/08/2020 dated 19.11.2020, the Culture Department vide Indent No. Cul/Gen/38/2020 dated 03.12.2020, Higher Education Department vide Indent No. HE/Coll/Sel-Prpl/52/2018 II dated 22.12.2020; Health and Medical Education Department vide Indent No. ME/NG/83/2020 dated 28.09.2020 and Skill Development Department vide Indent No. Edu/Tech/Gen/61/2019 dated 23.12.2020 among other posts reffered the posts of Library Assistants to J&K SSB for making selections; Whereas, these posts were advertised by the Board vide Advertisement No. 04 of 2020 under Item No. 62 and 110; Advertisement No.06 of 2020 under Item No. 189 & 203; Advertisement No. 07 of 2020 under Item No. 316 & 326 and Advertisement No. 02 of 2021 under Ttem No. 178, 223 & 408. As per these advertisement notifications, the selection to these posts was to be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only. Accordingly, the Written Test (CBT Examination) for the posts of Library Assistants was conducted w.e.f 8th November, 2021 to 12h November, 2021 in multiple shifts/ sessions; Whereas, on the basis of performance of the candidates, in written test, the result/score of the candidates was declared by the Board vide Notification No. sSB/COE/CBT/2021/8929-36 dated 20.12.2021 candidates, on the basis of merit, were called for Document Verification (DV) vide Notification No. SSB/COE/CBT/2022/1857-66 dated 02.02.2022 on 10.02.2022 both at Divisional Office JKSSB Jammu and Srinagar respectively; and thereafter shortlisted Whereas, a common CBT test was held for the post(s) of Library Assistant and these post(s) were referred by the different departments in different cadres, it becomes imperative to seek preferences/choices from the candidates who have been shortlisted and have applied for more than one item/notification so that repetition of the candidates in the final selection list is avoided; Now therefore, in view of the above, all such candidates who are figuring in the consideration zone for the selection against various posts advertised vide Advertisement No. 04 of 2020 under Item No. 62 and 110; Advertisement No. 06 of 2020 under Item No. 189 & 203; Advertisement No. 07 of 2020 under Item No. 316 &326 and Advertisement No. 02 of 2021 under Item No. 178, 223& 408 are hereby called upon to indicate the order of preference for verious posts/ items through the link provided on the official website of the Board www.jkssb.nic.in from 17 September 2022 to 20h September 2022(2359 hrs). State Cadre Posts
State cadre posts involve the vacancies in the Indenting Departments across the State for which the merit is judged across the Board.
Divisional Cadre Posts
The Divisional Cadre Posts are those posts which are borne on the establishment of the offices working in the Division. These posts are considered for the concerned Divisions and Advertisements are meant in the manner to indicate the posts available in a Division. Accordingly, the selection is also made across the Division whoever applies for these posts.
District Cadre Posts
The District cadre posts are those posts borne on the establishment of a district and the vacancies are referred by the Administrative Secretaries and Advertisement for a district and selections are also made for the district only.
The Chairman, Members and Secretary of the Board are deputed/nominated by the government from the in-service IAS/KAS Offices or the persons of immense repute in the field of education.
