Whereas, the General Administration Department, vide Communication No. GAD(Ser)PSC/07/2018 dated:24.12.2020 & (Ser) PSC/07/2018 dated: 18.01.2021, referred 187 posts to the J&K Public Service Commission for being filled up through the Combined Competitive Examination; and,
Whereas, these posts were advertised by the Commission vide Notification No. 02- PSC(DR-P) of 2021 dated:26.02.2021; and,
Whereas, Preliminary Examination was conducted on 24.10.2021 in which 20790 candidates appeared in full in the Examination; and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, a total of 4462 candidates were declared, vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/2021/60 dated: 13.11.2021, to have qualified for the mains examination; and,
Whereas, J&K Combined Competitive Service (Main) Examination, 2021, was conducted from 08.04.2022 to 18.04.2022 both at Jammu and Srinagar in which 3916 candidates appeared in all papers; and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission in accordance with the rules under SRO 103 of 2018 dated 23.02.2018, as amended from time to time, 648 candidates were declared to have qualified for interview vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/2022/33 dated 19.11.2022; and,
Whereas, the said result was confirmed/ratified by Commission vide decision no 14.1 dated 23.11.2022; and,
Whereas, the Personality test (interview) of these candidates was conducted w.e.f 05.12.2022 to 19.01.2023 at JKPSC office Jammu; and,
Whereas, 6 candidates were also interviewed on the directions of the Hon'ble Court, their candidature is subject to outcome of the writ petitions; and,
Whereas, the Commission in its Extra Ordinary Meeting held today on 19.01.2023 decided to declare the result of all the candidates who had appeared in the interview and also notify their aggregate marks while publishing a list of candidates to be summoned for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions contained in SRO 103 of 2018 dated 23.02.2021, read with J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules 2005 as well as the above mentioned decision taken by the Commission:
Out of 648 candidates shortlisted for interviews, the result of 643 candidates, who appeared in the interview of Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination 2021 at Jammu w.e.f. 05.12.2022 to 19.01.2023, is hereby notified as per Annexure-I to this notification; and,
ii) Consequent upon (i) above, 187 candidates as per Annexure-II of this notification and other rules on the subject, by order of their aggregate merit in the written examination as well as interview, read with J&K Reservation Rules (SRO 294) as amended up-to-date, have qualified for Medical Examination and are directed to report to the respective Medical Boards constituted/or to be constituted in GMC Jammu & Srinagar for conduct of their Medical Examination as per proforma, in accordance with rules on the subject.
