The reports pouring in theoffice reveal that sevenyoung persons have beenarrested along with its king-pin Farooq Rather, whoremained instrumental tobuy recruitment examina-tion papers from Panchkulaand then they sell to others.There are unconfirmedreports that these youthshave indulged themselves inselling and purchasing ofrecruitment examinationsquestion papers to sell in themarket and to fleece theinnocent aspirants.It is pertinent to mentionthat Umar Nazir Rather thevery close friend of nabbedFarooq Rather was selectedto Deputy Inspector ofFisheries department andhere it is dire need to crackthe more links and moreexamination paper leakdacoit. The police was receivinginformation about theirmysterious activities andtoday nabbed them immedi-ately and whisked them atsafe place. The police hasstarted investigation ontheir own and there are pos-sibilities they may be hand-ed over to CBI as CBI isalready investigating thecase of selling of questionpapers. Whereas, the policehave registered the caseunder FIR No 53/2023 u/s420/120-B IPC in PoliceStation Tral and furtherinvestigation is going on.
