PM Modi Laid Foundation Stone of 8 Projects of AMRUT
- PM Modi on January 19, 2024, claimed that to make these families' lives easier, his government launched several programmes.
- He said that 10 crore toilets and 4 crore pucca dwellings had already been supplied by the government.
- The PM dedicated the first of eight Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) projects, totaling around ₹2000 crore.
- The first and second installments were distributed to 10000 beneficiaries of PM-SVANIDHI in the state by the Prime Minister as well.

Two-Day 19th NAM Summit to Begin in Kampala
- The Two-day 19th NAM summit began on January 19, 2024 in Kampala, Uganda.
- The Indian delegation will be led by Dr. S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister (EAM).
- There will be discussions at the ministerial and senior official levels before the summit.
- India is represented in the NAM Foreign Ministers' meeting, which takes place before the NAM Summit, by Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh.

₹ 17 Lakh Crore Investments Made in the Power Sector
- The country's electricity deficit, according to the union power minister, has decreased from almost 4.5 percent in 2014 to less than 1% as of January 19, 2024.
- The last nine years have seen investments in the electricity sector totaling 17 lakh crores rupees.
- According to the International Energy Agency, this is the fastest and biggest increase in energy access in the history of the power industry.
- The Union Power Minister declared that by 2030, non-fossil energy sources will account for 65% of the country's renewable energy capacity.

Khelo India Youth Games Declared Open
- The sixth iteration of the Khelo India Games was officially opened in Chennai by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 19, 2024.
- He claimed that Indian sports, particularly paralympic sports, have undergone a remarkable metamorphosis and are becoming more and more popular worldwide.
- According to him, exposure to international athletes and coaching from foreign coaches have given India a newfound prominence on the world scene.
- India has submitted bids for both the 2036 and 2039 Youth Olympics, according to the prime minister.

Expansion of the Mangalore-Mudigere-Tumkur Section
- It was sanctioned for the extension of the Mangalore-Mudigere-Tumkur stretch of the National Highway in Karnataka was signed on January 19, 2024.
- The Minister stated that this project is positioned to significantly improve communication, navigating difficult hills and mountainous terrain, especially the Charmadi Ghat.
- Over 343 crore rupees have been approved by Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.
- According to Mr. Gadkari, the 10.8-km project would be carried out using the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
'Mumbai Festival 2024' is All Set to Open
- The Kala Ghoda Art Festival is organizing the Grand Opening Ceremony, which is scheduled for January 19, 2024, at Mumbai's Cross Maidan.
- Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis will be in attendance, in addition to Chief Minister Ekanth Shinde.
- More than fifty events have been scheduled at as many sites, according to Maharashtra's Minister of Tourism Girish Mahajan.
- The Maha Mumbai Expo, which takes place at the MMRDA Grounds, is going to be one of the Festival's highlights.
