By Home Academy
Introduction
The Solar System is a gravitational system consisting of the Sun, eight planets, natural satellites (moons), dwarf planets, asteroids, comets, meteoroids, and other celestial bodies.
The Solar System was formed approximately 4.6 billion years ago from a huge rotating cloud of gas and dust known as the Solar Nebula.
The Sun is the central body of the Solar System and contains approximately 99.8% of the total mass.
