JKSSB Mock Test Guidelines

(OMR/Computer Based)

📌 1. General Instructions

Total Questions: 120 questions (varies as per post)

Total Marks: 120 marks
Time Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
Negative Marking: Yes, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

Marking Scheme:

Correct Answer = +1 mark

Wrong Answer = -0.25 mark
Unanswered = 0 mark

🖊️ 2. OMR-Based Mock Test Instructions

Use blue/black ballpoint pen only.

Darken the circle completely; do not tick or cross.
Fill only one circle for each question. Multiple markings = invalid.
Mark answers on the OMR sheet only (not in question booklet).
Handle the OMR sheet carefully. Do not fold, tear, or spill anything on it.
Check that your Roll Number and Test Booklet Series match on both sheets.
Download OMR Sheets of Home Academy for practice

💻 3. Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mock Guidelines

Read all instructions carefully before starting.

Each question will have four options; click to select your answer.
You can review, change or skip any question before submission.
Use the navigation panel to switch between questions.
A timer will be visible on the screen. Submit before time ends.
Avoid refreshing or closing the browser window during the test.

📋 4. Mock Test Paper Format

Follow syllabus-wise division of marks for different sections.

Maintain time discipline: practice completing the test within time.
Attempt sectional mock tests first, then full-length mock tests.

📎 5. Things to Practice During Mock Tests

Time management: 1 minute per question.

Accuracy: Avoid negative marking with guesswork.
Speed: Try to finish 10 questions every 10 minutes.
Omitting confusing questions to save time.

6. Common Mistakes to Avoid

Leaving OMR blanks or marking multiple circles.

Spending too much time on one question.
Forgetting to check roll number/test series code.
Not managing time in CBT, leading to unattempted questions.
