A woman from indian gujrat married herself with all wedding tradition India's first sologamy

 The much-talked-about 'sologamy' of Kshama Bindu from Gujarat is now over.

We have seen incidents of people marrying a goat, dog, computer, or even a rice cooker! But this is a first for #India. In an unprecedented wedding affair, an Indian woman from western #Gujarat state tied the knot with herself on Wednesday, making it the country's first instance of #sologamy.

Kshama Bindu married herself with all wedding traditions, including haldi and mehendi, a few days ahead of the scheduled date. She was to get married on 11th of June.

This being the first case of Sologamy in India.

After the wedding, she thanked everyone in a video message and said she was grateful for the support and encouragement. "I would like to thank everyone who has messaged me and congratulated me and gave me the power to fight for what I believed in," she said on Facebook
