Qalamkaar- the writers group releases Book & Song at Udhampur
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 28: An impressive function was today organised under the banner of Qalamkaar- the writers group, to release poetic collection "Bekheyali Gazal Sangrah" and a Hindi video song "Fariyaad" both penned by Anu Atri Yaad.
The lyricist of the song Anu Atri Yaad belongs to Udhampur, while the Singer Aseem Sharma, hails from Jammu. The video song has been directed by Pankaj Khajuria and produced by Mohan Atri and Varun veer.
Shiv Dutt Nirmohi, writer and Historian was the chief guest at the Release function, while District Information Officer, Rajinder Digra was the guest of honour.
Dr. Shah Nawaz Culture officer Rajouri was special guest, who congratulated Anu Atri Yaad for her book "Bekheyali" and song " Fariyad"
The Programme started with a welcome address by Anu Atri Yaad Qalamkaar group.
Stage was governed by Senior Broadcaster of Aakashwani Ramesh Maratha with his magical presentation, while Ashok Sharma, Urdu poet briefed the participants about the book and Sunita Kumari briefed the participants about the working and achievement of Qalamkaar group.
At the end of the programme, Varun Veer, the Chief Secretary of Qalamkaar group, presented a vote of thanks to the dignitaries as well as participants.
