ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
Applications are hereby invited from eligible and interested candidates/aspirants belonging to Scheduled Caste Category for availing benefit of free coaching for UPSC/JKPSC/IAS/JKAS and NEET/JEE Examination under PARVAAZ Scheme. The Tentative No. of Candidates to be selected for free coaching is given here as under:
UPSC/JKPSC/IAS/JKAS: 100 No.
NEET/JEE Examination: 25 No.
Eligibility Criteria for free coaching for UPSC/JKPSC/IAS/JKAS& NEET/JEE Examination;
1. Candidate must be a Graduate from any recognised Board/University in case of free coaching for UPSC/JKPSC/IAS/JKAS& 12thfor free coaching for NEET/JEE Examination respectively.'
2. Candidate must be a Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
3. The Family Income of the Candidate from all sources should not exceed?8.00 lakh per annum. The candidates declared qualified after the scrutinization of application forms, shall be required to submit the income certificate after the issuance of list of provisionally qualified candidates for free coaching. Only those candidates who submit the income certificate within the stipulated time shall be considered for admission under the coaching program. 4. The candidate shall be eligible to avail free coaching only once. Students who have already availed free coaching under PARVAAZ or any other Government scheme are not eligible under the present scheme and shall submit duly sworn in affidavit at the time of admission declaring that they have not availed any similar benefit under PARVAAZ or any other similar Govt. Funded Program.
CANDIDATES ARE ALSO ADVISED TO APPLY FOR THE FAMILY INCOME CERTIFICATE IMMEDIATELY TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE ISSUED THE SAME WELL IN TIME
Age Limit: The age limit for free coaching shall be the age limit of the UPSC/JKPSC/IAS/JKAS and NEET/JEE Examination respectively. Selection Method: Selection for free coaching shall only be based on merit arrived on the basis of percentage of marks in Graduate for UPSC/JKPSC/IAS/JKAS and as below for NEET/JEE Examination.

I. Candidate with higher 12th percentage
II. Candidate with higher 10th percentage
III. Candidate with lower annual income.
Terms & Conditions for Free Coaching Programme:
1. The coaching program shall be designed for dropper candidates only and shall be conducted at institutes empanelled with Nodal Agency for conducting Free Coaching. 2. The candidates should be ready to move to the location of coaching institute allotted to them i.e Jammu/Srinagar. 3. The coaching program shall be designed to improve required examination-based skills, clear concepts and make the candidates ready for examination to be conducted during the year 2024. 4. The duration of course shall be 09-12 months. 5. Weekly Practice Tests/Assessment Tests/Mock Test/Test Series etc. shall be part of the program. 6. The duration and plan of the coaching program shall be based on the syllabus, difficulty level and scheme of entrance examination. 7. Candidates shall have to ensure a minimum of 90% class attendance during the coaching program. 8. Candidates who remain unauthorized absent as per norms shall be liable to recovery of coaching fee along with 10% penal interest.'
