“New Darbar hall” inaugurated by President Ramnath Kovind in -
On February 11, 2022, President of India Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the new Darbar Hall at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.The renovated Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai is on the same site where the old Durbar Hall stood. Construction on the new hall began in 2019 and was completed in December 2020. In 1911, the Old Darbar Hall was constructed to welcome King George V and Queen Mary of England to India.

The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar jointly inaugurated the 14.5 kilometre long ‘Rail-cumRoadBridge’ in Bihar on February 11, 2022.
• The much-awaited bridge is constructed over the River Ganga on NH 333B in Bihar’s Munger region.
• The cost of the ‘Rail-cum-Road-Bridge’ project is Rs 696 crore.
• The new bridge will reduce travel time, give a boost to tourism, agriculture as well as generate employment opportunities.

• The vessel has been named as ICGS ‘Saksham’.
• All 5 vessels under the project have been delivered before time to the Indian Coast Guard by GSL.
• The contract for 5 CGOPVs was inked between GSL and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) on 26th Aug 2016 for ₹20 billion
