CBI arrests 8 for impersonating real candidates during NEET exams
CBI on Monday unearthed a racket in connection to the NEET UG exams held on July 17. The probe agency has arrested eight people who were allegedly impersonating real candidates to help them in the exams.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday busted a racket involved in manipulating the National Eligibility Entrance Test Undergraduate exam (NEET UG) which was held on July 17, officials said.
The agency also arrested eight people, including the alleged mastermind and paper solvers, who were allegedly impersonating real candidates to help them in the NEET examination for undergraduate medical courses.
The agency received inputs that several people had entered into a criminal conspiracy to arrange solvers to impersonate real candidates in the NEET exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) at several centres in Delhi and Haryana on Sunday, the FIR alleged.
