PM Modi Inaugurated 2 New Amrit Bharat Trains

PM Narendra Modi marked a significant event on December 30, 2023 by flagging off 2 Amrit Bharat and 6 Vande Bharat Express trains from the Ayodhya Dham Railway Station.
This momentous occasion took place amid the festive atmosphere in Ayodhya, with the upcoming consecration of the grand Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.
The Amrit Bharat Express introduces a new category of superfast passenger trains with the distinctive feature of LHB push-pull technology.
The Amrit Bharat Train routes include Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi via Ayodhya and Malda Town to Bengaluru (Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal).

BJP President JP Nadda Released Stamp

BJP President J P Nadda released a stamp commemorating 200 years of Indian origin Tamils in Sri Lanka in New Delhi on December 30, 2023.
According to Mr. Nadda , the year 1823 is remembering and commemorating it with the stamp of Indian-origin Tamils, who had gone to Sri Lanka 200 years ago.
Britishers encouraged the migration of Tamil people to Sri Lanka as it served their purpose of augmenting economic activities by making the migrated people work in fields there.
He added that the migrated Indian-origin Tamils struggled for years and faced hardships of human dignity, health, and livelihood.

Paramilitary Forces Embrace ‘Sandes App’ (Defence)

Paramilitary forces introduced the ‘Sandes App’ for all official communication and document sharing in the new year on December 30,2024.
This shift underscores the growing importance of safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring secure messaging platforms within security organizations.
The decision to adopt the ‘Sandes App’ stems from the prevalent use of WhatsApp for internal communication within paramilitary forces.
The ‘Sandes App,’ developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), emerges as a robust alternative.

PM Modi Unveiled Airport and Station in Ayodhya

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in the temple town of Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) on December 30, 2023.
PM Modi also launched the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station and it has been redeveloped at cost of ₹ 240 crore.
It is a certified green building and is equipped with lifts, escalators, waiting halls, cloakrooms besides food plazas.
Ayodhya airport’s Phase -I has been developed at a cost of over ₹ 1450 crore.
The airport’s terminal has an area of 6500 sq m and will be equipped to in the first phase handle about 10 lakh passengers annually.

Historic Tripartite Peace Accord Signed

A tripartite peace accord has been signed between the Centre, the Assam Government, and the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) in New Delhi on December 30, 2023.
The deal is intended to bring lasting peace to the North East region.
The Memorandum of Settlement was signed in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
According to him that after the formation of the NDA Government in 2014, violent incidents in Assam have declined by 87 %, deaths by 90 %, and kidnappings by 84 %.

New Office Building of NCDFI Limited in Gandhinagar

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of the new office building of the NCDFI on December 30, 2023.
The function of National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Limited (NCDFI) organised at the National Forensic Science University campus in Gandhinagar.
The Minister also distributed the e-market awards during the function.
Mr. Shah attended Pujya Purani Swami Smriti Mahotsav organised by Ahmedabad-based Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwa Vidya Pratisthanam-SGVP in Ahmedabad.

Rajasthan CM Expanded His Government

Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma has formed his Council of Ministers on December 30, 2023.
Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to 12 cabinet ministers, 5 ministers of state with independent charge and 5 ministers of state, at Raj Bhavan.
Now the total number of ministers in the state cabinet, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers, has increased to 25.
Currently, 5 more people can be accommodated to the Council of Ministers.

Seven Schemes Implemented in Manipur

Manipur Government has decided on December 30, 2023 to implement 7 schemes for the people of the state.
Manipur CM Nongthombam Biren Singh announced the seven schemes included CM's Farmers Livelihood Support Scheme and CM One Village One Playground.
Other is Chief Minister's Sports Persons Livelihood Guarantee scheme and Schemes for construction of recognized tribal libraries with digital infrastructure.
Chief Minister's Ima Nongthang Leima Yaifa Tengbang Scheme, School Fagathansi Mission 2.0 and College Fagathansi mission will be also implemented in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the newly launched scheme will give benefits to the general public.

MP CM Assigned Portfolios to Members of His Cabinet

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav assigned portfolios to the members of his Cabinet on December 30, 2023.
CM Dr Yadav has kept General Administration, Home, Jail, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Public Relations, Narmada Valley Development, Aviation, Mineral Resources, Public Service Management, Overseas Indian Affairs and all other departments not specifically assigned to any Minister.
Deputy CM Jagdish Devda was entrusted with the departments of Finance, Commercial Taxes, Planning, Economics and Statistics.
While another Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla would handle Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education.
28 MLAs were sworn in as ministers in Mohan Yadav's cabinet, which consists of 18 cabinet ministers and 10 state ministers.
