1 Crore Households to get Rooftop Solar Systems

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared on January 22, 2024 that every citizen of the nation ought to own a solar rooftop system.
The "Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana," announced by PM Modi, would provide rooftop solar systems to one crore households.

Sony Terminated $10 Billion Merger Deal with Zee Entertainment

Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt Ltd. and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. mutually terminated their merger agreement on January 22, 2024.

A clause in the final agreements stated that if the merger did not close within 24 months of the signature date, talks about extending its end date would take place.

President Droupadi Murmu awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, 2024 to 19 deserving children on January 22, 2024, in New Delhi.
